Engaged in manufacturing upper grills for furnaces in auxiliary industry of white goods, PROMET was established in Istanbul in 1980. In the years of establishment, PROMET witnessed that upper grills for furnaces that could be manufactured as cast grills had some quality issues, costs were high, production resulted in environmental issues, and also there were product aesthetic issues. To sort out these problems, the company was the first to design and manufacture the same product from metal sheet and sheet bar in Turkey. This made it the very first company to manufacture in this field. Trial productions and prototype models of PROMET have been evaluated and recognised by the leading companies engaged in our key industry, and this led to a fast transition from cast grills to metal sheet and sheet bar upper grills for furnaces in bakery industry.

PROMET has many success stories since its establishment until today. It was first engaged in the industry with 8 personnel and 3 machines upon 200 sqm area. The humble engagement was expanded to cover 5.500 sqm indoor space established on 20.000 sqm at Bolu facilities, reaching a production capacity with 150 personnel. PROMET provides services for white goods industry at its plant in Bolu; followed by the other relevant stations of ‘Product Development’, ‘Chilled Iron and Metal Sheet Forming’, ‘Moulding Room’, ‘Automatic Spot Welding’, ‘Press Shop’, ‘Surface Cleaning’, ‘Electrostatic Powder Enamel’, ‘CNC and Quality Control’.

Combining an understanding of production based on society and customer, with accumulated knowledge and experience, PROMET is a company that focuses on constant development and growing. Today, it collaborated with the white goods manufactures in Turkey and in Europe, and has a significant share in exports thanks to the patented products.
